B.Ed. Days: October 2022

5th day

Today November 1 keralapirivi. We all dressed up in traditional costume. It was a nice experience to wear saree and see everywhere unity and integration. Students were also very excited. On this particular day there was a manushya changaa held by Govt. of Kerala as a part of laharivirudha campaign. All the students and teachers assembled in front of S.M.V. School by 2.30 pm . Students from various schools assembled as a line on both sides of the road. The program started at 3.00 pm . Honorable chief minister addressed the gathering and inaugurated the program. Students were dispersed by 4.30 pm.

4th day

The school conducts assembly on Mondays and Thursdays. It was the first assembly after we went. The assembly was organized by class 5th students. The assembly started with morning prayer and it included general knowledge sharing, news and thought. The teachers guided the students and it was nicely coordinated. The headmistress addressed the students and informed the students about the manushya changala which is to be held the next day. The assembly dispersed at 10.00 am.

There was also a quiz program conducted by Deshabhimani on the same day for the school students.

3rd day

There was a tour for the students to Planetarium. The students were very trilled to visit planetarium. They started the journey at 9.30 am. Some teachers also accompanied the students. Few students were present in the school who were not going for the same. We training teachers conducted some activities to engage the students.

2nd DAY AT SMV SCHOOL

The 2nd day( 28/10/2022) at SMV school was yet other experience. There was morning assembly at 9.30 A.M. It started with prayer and the headmistress addressed the group of students. She informed the students about the necessity of maintaining uniform and discipline.

There was a special programme for awarding prizes to the winners of National Talent Search exam. The concerned authorities also informed the students of class 7th and 8th regarding National merit cum scholarship test . After that there was class elections.

Being the second day at school students were much more familiar to us and were very cooperative.

MIDDAY MEAL

The midday meal program is applicable to students from class 5 to 8. Being fewer number of students the lunch is being provided upto class 10. We teacher trainees visited the hall and watched the manner in which it is being given and assisted the teachers for distributing the lunch.

QUIZ PROGRAMME

There was a quiz competition for classes 8th and 9th on topic at 11 A.M. Many students participated in the program and we student teachers had organized the program.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 1

The first day of school internship was on 27th October 2022. The school I chose was S.M.V. 9 student teachers from 5 optional subjects were there in total from GCTE. I reached the school at 8.45 A.M and made all the arrangements for classes.

The first and most memorable experience was ടീച്ചറേ ...... .I got chance to take two classes ; one in 8th and other in 9th standard. There was a quiz program at 11.00 A.M and we were organizing the same and also served the midday meal for the children.

It is a day which is going to be cherished in my mind as it is first footstep to the mysteries of teaching field .
